TW: SH and ADDICTIONS MENTIONED
Video games
The window that children, teenagers and adults sneak through. Some people associate video games with addiction, sedentary lifestyle, laziness and childishness.
I am a person who gets attached to an activity easily, that is, addicted. I can choose different ways to deal with sadness, stress, etc. Either I eat, or I cut, or I bite my nails or I play. In the midst of these activities, playing doesn't seem so bad, does it? You can tell me to try to create better habits but I honestly can't. The lack of motivation and uselessness I feel is deep down inside. (That's for another story)
I started playing on my dad's old iPad, then on the Nintendo DSi, then on the PS3, then on a tablet, then on the PS4, then on the cell phone, then on the computer, then on the PS5 and infinitely. In other words, I learned from an early age to have access to everything. Everything I wanted at my fingertips.
I don't play much online games. Nooooo I like story games. Follow and guide the story of someone whose ending has to be happy. The escape I mentioned at the beginning is in story games. Following the feelings, missions and obstacles of someone whose future is already in code is much better than following whatever goes forever on my permanent mind.
Do you relate? Please tell me, I love you <3
