introduction/about me!

hello again! i just thought i would make another blog to tell everyone a bit more about me. yes, i have realised and understand the fact that there's an entire section on my profile dedicated to my interests, but i wanted to go a bit more in-depth so anyone willing to read can get to know me that bit better.

my name is Alix, if you hadn't already noticed, and i'm a 16-year-old girl from Scotland. i like all things indie music, my favourite bands being Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand, who both inspired me to pick up a guitar for the first time somewhere around 2020-2021. i've been playing not-very-consistently since then, but i would like to imagine i've improved at least a little since then.

while i have a few hobbies, the main two i hope to develop into a career would be photography and journalism. i'm sure by reading this you can imagine the kind of articles i'd be writing. i intend on using this platform as a way to start myself off, even if no one is particularly interested in what i have to say.
