i don't listen as much sad music as i used to but some that may fit into the description could be:
getsusekai by Buck tick, i'ts the one on my profile if you're curious about it :3
jupiter by Buck tick
Plastic tree songs, nothing specific comes to my mind but i'm sure they may have something for you
i'll sleep when i'm dead by Set it off
til i feel no pain by Lovers guilt
녹슨 칼 by Past self
pretty much anything by Mitski
The killing moon by Echo & the bunnymen
Marian by Sisters of mercy
The key by Paralysed age
wonder if u care by flyingfish
If...with tears in one's eye by Shazna
Those to mentions some, i'm not 100% all would fit your taste but the least i can do is mention them :,3
awesome! i have a friend who listens to bucktick so this isn't my introductino to them, nonetheless i recognize they're not really my style xd. but who knows, i might get more into them into the future. i still really appreciate their musical abilities, its great stuff.
getsusekai sounds like something i'd hear from splatoon 1 on the wii u and jupiter sounds like japanese david bowie, soothing ballad with cool chord progressions and powerful drums.
i listened to plastic tree's (rad name btw) most famous song on spotify and i really like it, groovy drums and a sort of shoegaze sound going on, all while having the typical japanese feel to it. the bass and kick drum is really nice you can hear it very well and its got a nice tone. sick. still, doesn't make me fly into the sky and make me crawl into a fetal position.
i would have maybe listened to ill sleep when im dead when by set it off when i was 12, i really hate the compressed and overproduced poppunk stuff, but thats just me.
til i feel no pain by lovers guilt, on the other hand, is pretty cool. i love the instrumental it sounds very goth wave or wtv. only thing i dont really adore is the IMMENSE reverb the voice on this song has, it really fills up the space too much for me. apart from that, solid track, very danceable.
녹슨 칼 by Past self is really nice. production is coolzers, typical disco goth track i wanna start spinning around bats in a mega cathedral with this one. the vocals are mixed very nicely ::DDD kinda repetitive but thats the style of it. the huge organ chords at the end are a very awesome touch
i used to listen to like 2 mitski songs xd. she's a great singer songwriter.
i know the killer moon and marian, super cool songs especially the first one.
the key has goofy voice haheaheheah, they're not native english speakers so it's fine. it makes my butt move. lead guitar is very catchy. cool distorsion
wonder if you care is an internet classic nowadays. i've heard it before. the kickdrum is super bassboosted but its made to be like that its gotta sound nice and crisppppyyyyyy. cooolcoolcolcool, very remembable i feel like i hear this song when i zone out staring at the wall its coolzers. would get sick of it after a while tho
if............... with tears in ones eye by shazna has really good instrumentals. i say this for every song i feel guilty to say that im not in love with the vocals... but wow everything else is really good i could almost forget the vocals as a whole. the effects are nice and the drums intricate. a very very solid track, ALMOST love it.
thanks for sharing dude! i had a good time listening
