Hear me out!!!

Okay so I live in the Bay Area and I grew up absolutely addicted to boba and art, and I'm thinking what if I combined the two of them...a boba art cafe that is also an art studio!

Ideas:

  1. Student artwork is displayed on the walls for colorful decoration of the cafe
  2. It is third-space friendly (charging ports for laptops and phones and tables with board games)
  3. The art classes teach both art and business with fun mini art fairs and events, with students able to make their art into stickers, bookmarks, etc. (I as the manager act as middleman ordering the manufactured product and the kids/parents pay the upfront cost and get 100 percent profits of the product they sell which would be at the counter for the cafe)
  4. Some business things that would be taught, for example- building your portfolio website and marketing yourself, older kids getting into commission contracts and younger kids drawing imaginary business ideas because ambition and pure hope are important (maybe this can be an online class on the website asynchronously purchased)
  5. Large windows for natural lighting and good vibes with the opportunity to do some window mural painting (and on the other walls for more permanent murals)
  6. NO CARPETS they are the enemy. If you know you know. Only easy-to-clean wooden floor.
  7. People who donated a certain amount to the Kickstarter get to name a boba flavor/combo on the menu (as long as it is appropriate and creative)
  8. Active social media that promotes local artists
  9. When there is no class people can just drop in and pay a flat fee (student discount cause we're kinda broke)
  10. Digital gallery on the website were artists/students can opt-in receiving feedback/kudos/constructive criticism that passes by a moderator first to make sure its not weird or rude
  11. Parent email newsletter containing debriefs of what their kids learned and a preview of the next term (monthly)
  12. A earthy homey vibe with beanbags and a donation library shelf, and fake plants.
  13. Free snacks (nothing fancy thought if I had the time I love baking) and water for students
  14. Paint and sip nights or adults and corporations that want team-building projects
  15. A claw machine. No explanation is needed.
  16. Overall just a safe inclusive space for creativity for everyone young and old

This is just spitballing fun ideas!!! Please comment with more fun ideas for this imaginary little silly project!! (It may be real one day never know, haha)
