how to make friends

hello my fellow PEOPLE im a PERSON too and im from planet EARTH!!!1!!!1!!

so im very very introverted i do have friends but i dont hang out with them at school only when their friends arent there and we rarely ever talk so at school so uhh yeah.

and im to shy to go up to them and when we talk it feels very very forced

HOW DO I MAKE FRIENDS AS A VERY VERY INTROVERTED PERSON??/???/

i desperetly need tips

I personally would say is first know who you are and what you’re looking for in making friends. Are you wanting friends just because or is it to full a void? If it’s a just because then I’d say the best way is whenever you do any projects in class and are grouped in groups try to see if you get paired with someone that seems to maybe have similar interest as you. Idk if that makes sense. Then during the project slowly kinda try to smooth talk like things related to the project until it slowly changed to the similar interest. That’s how I kinda made more friends when I was in school. Though yeah it kinda made me a floater friend but it assured that I at least had someone I can click with whenever I had a certain class. Then slowly it was kinda revealed that some peoples were friends with each other which made it easier to know go and hang out with them more outside of school since then everyone already knew me in some way or another. Then there is also the more social awkward way which is just go try and develop online friends. Cuz it’s easier to make an online persona and make friendship that way. Idk if this is good advice. I mean that’s how I’ve made friends thru times even tho I don’t really talk too much but it fun to see them chatting away while I eat whenever we hang out
