How to get into parties for someone who doesnt like parties?

hey yall!

I was just wanted to know, how would I get into parties or go to parties if im not a big fan of party's myself? usually at night I get overstimulated and dont really interact with ppl (not that I would anyway :p) I am (hopefully) going to college in a few months and I wanted to know what theyre like and how I would get used to them
