Video games I've been playing

I've been playing a few games lately so here's what I've been enjoying :DĀ

Blasphemous- I L O V E the art style and play style of this game. A+ in my book. The game is a bit difficult, but a very good platformer with enemies and puzzles. The game is based on Roman Catholicism and you are the "Penitent one" where you are a warrior forever vowed to silence. The dark lore and story is very much my speed. Very good game.Ā

COD MWII - an older game when it comes to the COD series, but it's one of my favorites multiplayer wise. I play with my husband and we play COD and shots, where when we win we take a shot of vodka. We win a lot.Ā

Legend of Zelda Link between Worlds- This is for nintendo ds. I've had the game for YEARS and just never played it for some reason. I'm probably about half way through it. Def not my ~favorite~ zelda game, but it's alright. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of the ninteno ds ones for some reason.Ā

Hello Kitty Island Adventure- Far different from anything on this list, but I got it a few days ago and i love it!! It's a very cute and cozy game. You basically float down on balloons after jumping from a plane, and help set up an island resort, running around doing errands, increasing friendships, crafting, and just all around adventuring. I was in love with the animal crossing series growing up, but New Horizons did not do it for me. It was a cute game, but I quickly grew bored with it. HKIA feels like what New Horizons could have been.Ā

Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom- I havent touched this one in a while. My first intro to the LoZ universe was Ocarina of Time, and then shortly after, Majoras Mask. These 2 set in stone what I expected of LoZ games, and they are BY FAR my favorites. There are a lot of great zelda games though. I spent over 300 hours completing BotW, and it was a good new concept to add to the series. I did NOT like how quick weapons break though. Didn't like it at all. I started playing TotK and its also a good game, but I think I just fell so in love with the OG's that it's hard for me to get SUPER into an open world concept with SO much new stuff. I'm really terrible at building. There is so much to do it's almost overwhelming to me. I like to finish games to near completion and it's impossible to do it with these 2 games without keeping track of alot of what you did. I have to use an app on a tablet every time I play xD. Plus, with life in general and being an adult, and the other games out there I like to play, it's hard to pick this one up without dedicating a lot to it. Don't get me wrong, it's a GOOD game, I'm just dumb and don't like change. I hope to complete it at some point, but much like BotW, it'll probably take me 5 years of on and off playing.Ā
