why is it so hard to get a job

ive been 17 for half a year now, and ive been applying to jobs since I turned 16 (THAT WAS IN SEPTEMBER 2023!!) and ive had ONE (1) interview that I never heard back from. is it me? like I know im not being hired because I have no formal work experience but not being funny how am I supposed to get work experience if nobody will hire me??!! and ive tried so many places over and over again but alas nothing. most of them just ignore me. does anyone have any tips, at all? because its actually a joke atp
