Stairs >:P

Well progress is being made. I'm not wearing the big pain patches today, decided I'd tough it out. Besides, the skin there was getting all irritated. No bueno. :P

The coughing is less today too. One thing that's the same, unfortunately, is my wind. My get-up-and-go. My starch. Whatever you want to call it. Stamina. That's a good one.

So... I guess I'd better... (ugh, can't believe I'mma say this, yuck) . . I guess I'd better do some reps on the stairs.

Climbing the stairs here is going to be a better workout than using the glider. How do I know? I'm kinda winded when I climb the one flight to my bedroom. I can't let that stand. I mean, I sit around enough in my life. I really don't want a wheelchair or even a walker or canes. Stinkin' pride is why, I don't like to be seen as weak.

I like helping people, and it's hard enough when I'm doing great. So. We'll see how many I can stand to do in a day. And when I do go back to the gym, they have a stair climber there too, gonna have to keep it up if I want to see results. :/

i'm glad you're taking steps to keep up your stamina! you're 100% valid in how you feel, but it's also important to remember that using mobility aids and being disabled is not weakness. you're strong the way you are, and you'd be just as strong if you had to use a wheelchair. we love you jon! <3
