I got the worst haircut, i'm literally sobbing

I hate how sometimes you can take a picture to a hairstylist that shows exactly what you want only to get something that isn't even close. 

I went to someone new to get my hair cut because the woman who used to do my hair has been on hiatus for a few years. I've been trying to find someone to replace her for a while now and I was really excited to go to this new girl that was recommended to me. I had seen pictures of hairstyles she had done and I thought she was really skilled, I still think that.  

I brought a picture of what I wanted, and I tried my best to explain the things I liked about it. The cut was very similar to a pixie but longer. I needed to cut a good amount of my hair off, I can be a bit impulsive with bleach and hair dye, but I wanted to keep a little bit of length. 

I did not get what I wanted. 

She cut pretty much all of my hair off and I am devastated. 

She asked me at the end if I liked my hair, and I lied, mostly because there wasn't anything that could be done about it. 

It isn't a bad haircut; it just isn't what I wanted, and I feel like I look so terrible now. She was really nice and friendly, I'm just very disappointed. I cried all last night about it. 

I think I'm just going to have to live in hats until my hair grows out.
