i've been getting into arctic monkeys and system of a down recently
i've kinda hit one of those slumps where my music taste has no real direction and is just a mess of genres lmao 

my top songs this month are jigsaw falling into place by radiohead (go figure), Cannibal by naethon apollo, bigmouth strikes again by the smiths, and just a man from epic

all because they're on my jonathan sims playlist
oh how i could yap about how every song on that playlist fits his lore so well

we're reading Homer's Odyssey in LA and the timing was super cool because Epic the musical finished right before
i only just listened to it because the music rubbed me the wrong way at first but there are some great songs in it (*cough cough* just a man)

and wouldn't you like, storm, no longer you, get in the water

those are all i can think of right now

oh isn't it so cool seeing where little areas of fandoms intersect?

there's an episode of the Magnus Archives called "puppeteer" and there were a bunch of comments with the lyrics to the Epic song with the same name
same with MAG 150 Cul-de-sac
a bunch of people were commenting about suburbia overture by will wood

i don't know the few moments of harmony we get on the internet are just so heartwarming to see

ooh back on the topic of my english class

We had to do this assignment where we drew connections between the Odyssey and literally anything else
which isn't hard in itself
but for the sections the assignment applied to we didn't actually read the poem and we did a little readers theater instead, cutting down about 150~ pages into 20

meaning we had not at a lot to work with

TELL ME WHY.
tell me why i was drawing connections between this ancient greek piece of mythos and ELF. THE CHRISTMAS MOVIE. AND MEAN GIRLS ??. I LOWKEY GAVE UP 

WE HAD TO WRITE PARAGRAPHS ON HOW THE CONNECTIONS MADE THE READING DEEPER AND I HAD NO CLUE WHAT TO DO AND BASICALLY DIDN'T EVEN ANSWER THE QUESTION IM COOOKED
