Baking ! ༉‧₊˚.

I started baking a few weeks ago after I finished my first round of finals, and it was super fun ! It kind of made me realize how lazy I've been the last few years, and it makes me want to be creative in other ways ! I really LOVE baking because I love gift giving to people, and I think that baking is a pretty good low-cost gift I can give to friends (it costs a lot more in time, than in resources haha!), and it makes me feel more accomplished in my gifts. I first made chocolates, cakes and truffles, just to test out recipes, and now I have a whole list of things to do ! I got so excited, I bought cute cake and sweet containers off Amazon, and have been trying to perfect the recipes to give and send to friends ! I have about 8 batches of chocolates to make this weekend ! I might have over-extended myself in the chocolate department, but I was just so excited to share with my friends ! After that, I am gonna make miffy macarons, and some other cute things ! I've been taking A LOT of inspiration from Nana's Pastries on Instagram ! To be honest, I also started making the chocolates after watching Kimi Ni Todoke...I just thought the chocolate episode was cute, and it never occurred to me that I could make my own chocolates ! Anyways, I have like, 10 recipes in store for the picnic I am planning ! I am so so so excited for it !! If things go well at the picnic, I am def gonna save the recipes for June, when I meet some of my friends at a lake house ! I am so excited ! Can't wait to bake more this weekend !
