This is a hurt/no comfort fic, which is well done this isn't a slow one you're put right into the hurt. This author doesn't build up some hope to then break to make you feel, and to never to pick you up again. I love this fic however, due to it's way of making you feel how Joey feels. In this fic we start off at the funeral of Kaiba, whose been shot down in a cross-by, and hasm't fully understand the place he finds himself in mentally. Joey is in denial until he is face-to-face with his dead lover, before we he is faced with his dead lover he goes down memory lane about how they fall in love, about their mornings and nights together. All this comes crashing down once he sees how truly gone Kaiba, we don't get any other POV or see any other interactions outside of the flashbacks of Joey and Kabia inside of Joey's mind. The man is fully alone in their shared apartment in chapter2, building this sense of emptyness inside of Joey.

 The writing is well-done, and the emotion is well given. 

it's fully completed, 4/4 chapters, and if you love a good hurtfull read, that would be the fic for you.
