so lame rng fishing aside, this is a general list of just suspicious or downright evil stuff associated with jscripts and his "game":
- this guy is actively scamming his players with gamepasses and developer products that either barely work (and are not being actively fixed) or are outrageous inflated prices. nearly everything is behind a paywall, the game's entire motive is made for profit and not for "just liking seals" like he claims
- every asset in his game is not his, be it stolen "free model" or just straight up ripped from someone else's work. a quick look on the roblox studio toolbox can find you a good 80% of the assets in his game
- subpoint to above: he is actively trying to PROFIT off said stolen assets (in fact, the entire game is a cash grab meant to siphon money out of gullible kids)
[additional note: it is illegal to profit financially off of "free models," even if some of the assets in his game are labelled free use, he cannot be selling access to them or using them in a product (the game) he intends to profit off of]
- nothing in the game is original, concepts and content are ripoffs of other popular gamesĀ (fisch, mainly. of which he listed as an "inspiration")
- no real proof for this one, but having everything else in his game just be ripped stolen assets also leads me to believe the seal models aren't even his either. their faces are uncanny and it just looks like a slightly edited generated model off meshy (an AI 3D model generator)
- his 2 main associates (a moderator and playtester) are parading with stolen 2009 accounts that were bought off an illegal account trading site (before you try to doubt this, consider that it is statistically impossible that someone who is openly a minor somehow is close enough to two GENUINE 2009 account holders to have them actively in his inner circle. think for like 1 second about that for real)
- zero interaction with his fanbase outside of his 5 minutes of fame "look at me" QNA corner, yet somehow manages to obtain 5.6 MILLION visits and maintain a consistent 5k minimum players throughout the day with little to no dip below that even during low-activity hours (a feat that barely even the top games on roblox can do. player botting? more likely than you think)
- subpoint to above: he frequentlyĀ contradictsĀ himself in the answers he gives in his QNA channel, with the same questions getting different answers. he can't even keep up with his ownĀ lies
- taking 1 look at the tiktok account for his game: brand new account. very first video on that account. IMMEDIATE half a million views. this kid has a suspiciously large amount of money to spend on advertising and paid promotion, so why not use that money to hire actual developers and not steal assets? profit! circling back to the first point. he's very adamant about wanting this to be a "solo" project so he can pocket your money and run with it without having to pay anyone for the stuff he's stolen
-Ā aggressive paid promotionĀ is what is currently keeping his game alive, he has as of feb 2nd beenĀ featuredĀ on the "no context shitposts" twitter gimmick accountĀ (of which isĀ knownĀ toĀ frequently post paid content [ads]Ā without mentioning itĀ in their posts), as well as theĀ officialĀ robloxĀ tiktokĀ account (which isĀ alsoĀ knownĀ to postĀ paidĀ promotionalĀ material. the post about his game isĀ clearĀ paidĀ promotionĀ because it was aĀ videoĀ madeĀ specificallyĀ to beĀ postedĀ asĀ anĀ advertisement,Ā ratherĀ thanĀ theĀ genuineĀ featuredĀ postsĀ that roblox uploads which are just theĀ og videosĀ in theirĀ rawĀ footage)
- subpoint to above: he is openly aĀ minorĀ (sourced from hisĀ discordĀ serverĀ whereĀ he mentionedĀ trying toĀ convince his parentsĀ thatĀ roblox is a full time job. so either he is aĀ minor, or aĀ grown man still living with his parents...)
- also lied about "balancing" his gamepass prices when people mentioned he's blatantly overcharging people. a whole week later, prices have not dropped whatsoever. he also increased them overall by a total of 500 robux combined in preparation for the release of the game. he went into this intentionally planning to get as much money as he could out of his players as possible
- one of his responses to criticism on his game, highlighted important notes and the results
- january 21st prices (3 days before game's public release)
- febuary 3rd prices (additional gamepass, overall 500 robux increase in prices)
- intentional(?) lack of moderation in his game, despite having a "moderator" for his group and server. he has knowingly let his game fall into a state of disrepair and it has essentially become a condo game (for those who dont know what a condo game is, they are hubs where sexual roleplayers come to subject people to that kind of stuff. gross) which boosts his profits and outward appearance
- (not very damning evidence but still weird and kinda fishy) his roblox account is almost brand new, only being created very late last year. comparing it to users of similar grifting practices, the jscripts account could be an alt front account for a more active main in which little scammy side project profits are siphoned into without being traced, so if in the instance the practices are discovered and the account is terminated, the main cant be traced back to and they get away with it
(FOR THOSE WITH NO READING COMPREHENSION: i am NOT saying that is the case for this specific instance, i am saying that it could be a likely possibilityĀ if the situation applies)
- has openly used AI in the past. he confidently had an AI generated image as his discord profile photo for months, and when finally questioned on it, he got flakey, pulled 3 excuses out of his ass first BEFORE finally saying "uhhh i dont support AI" and changed his image 4 times in panic until hitting the discord bitrate limit. why would he get so nervous about a profile picture if he didn't have so much riding on his public image? weirdo behavior if you ask me
- screenshot of him with the profile picture (message content irrelivant)
- (currently known) source of the image
- (unconfirmed) has been ripping off and stealing ideas from another competing seal game (will remain unnamed to avoid bringing them into this)Ā this i do believe though because a few concepts and items that the other game had first were later added to "be a silly seal" after it was made public. the other game also was promoted and released way before "be a silly seal" was, meaning there was a large gap in time where ideas and features could have been copied
[EDIT as of feb 2nd: the game recently updated, featuring a handful of items directly copied from the other game. the developer of the other game mentioned to me in quote:
"i'm not surprised we'd have similar accessories, we're getting them from the same place (roblox marketplace) and there's only so many types of accessories you can realistically have if you're not making them yourself" (end of quote)
...but they're the exact same models! i can understand having similar items but they're... literally the same models..]
and this is just a list of stuff off the top of my head and what's public information either in his server, on tiktok, or on the game page/in the game itself (i will also be providing screenshots of certain points once i switch to my computer, i've been writing this on my phone for now)
it's sickening to see a person like this get so much praise and profit from something he puts the bare minimum into. especially since if you genuinely looked into this guy for one second, you'd see that he just showed up out of nowhere as an immediate overnight success and is tied to a bunch of overall shady development practices that are normally frowned upon in the roblox gaming community. is the double standard here only from the fact that his fans will blindly consume and praise anything that has a seal in it? if you are a fan of this game, have you truly looked into what it is you are consuming and promoting? he does not have your best interest in mind and you are being played a fool. he wants to profit from you and has made zero effort to hide it, but is relying on the fact that he knows you won't look for it
[ANONYMOUS DISCORD QUOTES FROM CRITICS OF THE GAME (IDENTITIES PROTECTED TO AVOID WITCH HUNTING)]
- player lists comments about game's monetization
