I vibe with spacehey because the more technology pushes forward, the more I like the idiosyncrasies of the old stuff. I collect cassettes, I shoot weird 35mm on the cheapest and shittiest cameras I can get my hands on (my latest buy is the 1993 fisher price perfect shot--should be getting scans back from that soon!), and I still have a tumblr (because I never left).
So with that being said, here's some 35mm I shot with my trusty kodak ultra F9.

yessss these are great! love film photography -- the aberrations can be kind of mimicked now i guess but analogue will always have that special sauce
really love the horse statue one, reminds me of a dad rock album cover :-)
the best thing about that horse statue is i took it while walking around outside my cousin's wedding venue last year. such a different vibe from what was going on inside the building with the storm clouds rolling in!

Love these photos, holy cow! It's also really cool to hear that others like to use older equipment to see what it can do, I've got some old cameras that span different time periods and all have their own unique look. These photos all have such a vibe, can't wait to see what the other photos turn out when you get them!
i haven't had a chance to really play with it yet, but for christmas my parents sent me my grandpa's super paxette from the mid-50s. I also have a soviet lomo lc-a that's a bit fiddly with age but i'll upload some photos from that too. i think i've gotten too used to instant gratification with phone photos; its a nice surprise when i get my scans back a week later and they're actually nice lol

Bro said cheapest shittiest camera then dropped absolute art
thank you! it's not the camera that makes the artist, which is what i love about cheap film and equipment. you have to take a lot more shots to get something good, but i love the unpredictability of it all :)
