my awesomesauce list of incoherence

this is a list with as many incoherent (i.e. confusing, complex, even just things that aren't explained in a coherent way, etc.) works of media i could find; this list is aided by The Embassy, which is a discord server dedicated to corru.observer, the first link i have here

alright, first off, a few websites, as they're the easiest to access

CORRU.OBSERVER (Visual novel, but also an RPG, point'n'click, MOTHER/Undertale-style battles, chess-style as well later on. You're in the basement of a government facility, plugging your mind into what's essentially an alien, sentient computer, and trying to unravel why the Obesk fled from Earth)

ƎNA (YouTube series that visually looks like someone playing a video game a la LSD Dream Emulator, with a bit of lore added in, a Steam game called ƎNA: Dream BBQ with the same style is coming out soon)

Nirakul Archives (A point'n'click that uses its status as a website to its advantage)

now, some software

LSD: Revamped (very, very accurate recreation of LSD Dream Emulator for PC, with mod support)

B3313 (Super Mario 64 ROM hack that amalgamates multiple creepypastas about the game, mostly the "Sentient AI" one. The ROM is absolutely fucking HUGE after you patch it, as it tries to recreate the idea that the AI is continually making more and more vague and only very loosely Mario-ish content to lure you in. Tons of playtime.)

CRUELTY Squad (FPS which i personally consider to be what purgatory looks like while on acid)

Psychopomp (Psych horror dungeon crawler in which you explore catacombs that are under every building on earth)

The Under Presents (VR-exclusive, originally built to be used for live plays, now abandoned by the devs. You mainly search around looking for new places, solve puzzles, meet other players and memorize magic spells using igniting finger-snaps, random objects, and your mask)

MINDWAVE (WarioWare-esque minigame fest in which you battle opponents by linking minds)
