Trying to read more books in 2025!

I want to read more books, so i've compiled a reading list, but ngl it might take me a bit more than a year to get through them all. I'm currently reading Feminist theory: From margin to center, by bell hooks - havent read a lot of it yet, but finished first chapter and it's really good so far, theres an absolute goated quote from antoinette fouque that states:

"Since these women are becoming men, in the end it will only mean a few more men. The difference between the sexes is not whether one does or doesn't have a penis it is whether or not one is an integral part of a phallic masculine economy." talking about a main-stream feminism that usually only benefits the "bourgeois avant-garde that maintains, in an inverted form, the dominant values..."

haven't read in a while, exam seasons, but in light of all that is happening, here's another quote from Mikki Kendall "Hood Feminism", a great book and i greatly recommend it for a deeper dive into 21st century feminism, the perspective is from an african american woman and as a asian woman/girl living in europe, i've really enjoyed it. here goes the quote:

"Trans women are often derided or erased, while prominent voices parrot the words of conservative bigot's, framing womanhood as biological and determined at birth instead of something fluid and often arbitrary social construct."
