My Japan experience

crazy how I can be socially awkward in multiple languages ROFL

When I was in Japan, i attended a shrine with my family. The attendent greeted me, and my stiff self just froze a little, before asking if she spoke english in Japanese, since my mom wanted to buy a ticket in. I said it in the most DEADPANNED RUDE VOICE EVER ON ACCIDENT, but she was still nice about it. I feel traumatized. Speaking a language you're learning to locals is scary.
