Fired? Not fired??

So, in a way I got ... Put on some sort of "leave" for a week or two because corporate "wanted me gone" 

I'm not sure what to think of it all. 

It's extremely weird. I'm not fired though my manager made sure that I understood that. 

But my parents said that if I'm being reprimanded by corporate 

Then it needs to be in writing, otherwise, it could be discrimination. 

There's also the possibility that I'm being done this way bc out of all the people that work there I would be the most "ok" with missing work ? I guess 

I have no idea. 

Either way I'm trying to look at it positively, I'll have at least an entire week to do stuff that I desperately need to do. 

As well as have an opportunity to work on my art, and stories how I wanted, and hopefully get some commissions, but either way I'm looking at this as positively as I can.
