Artists are so underrated

I love art, i do believe I was born an artist, I love being able to create stuff with my drawings or even writing stories but i hate how we are so underrated, i feel like if you're not famous nobody believes you're making something valuable, people tend to see your work as just a hobby, if you try to live of it almost nobody will think its worth to pay you for it (even if you do cheap prices)

Then sometimes you hear people saying how your work is not as valuable as the work doctors do, or lawyers or teachers...why would we need to compare each other? i would like to see how the world would look like without any form of art, everyone would be so plain

I wish in the future we could learn to appreciate more art and humanities :/
