The (2nd) best virtual torunament you've probabbly never hear of

Hello SpaceHey this is my first blog so i hope you like it

So my first time talking here it will be about one of my biggest obsessions in recent weeks, a proyect called "Third World Tournament X". this is a virtual tournament based on the event "King for another day" by the youtuber silvagunner. I want to clarify that I am doing this to share this incredible project with the English community, since thanks to the Hispanic nature of this project it is normal that you guys have never come across it and of course also those who already know KFAD.

The premise of this tournament is simple, 32 characters face each other in a tournament format with rounds of winners and losers, the participants face each other through songs that are provided by the community, first several individual ones and then others that combine both characters, In the end the community votes who wins and who is eliminated.

The songs made can be in different formats: mashup, remix or covers. Each character in the tournament has a list of sources or themes from which it is explained what types of songs should be used to represent them.

For example, if a character is from Diseny, he or she has access to music and songs from everything related to Disney, unless exceptions are specified.

Each sourcelist is based in things like the origin of the character, themes related to them, references, memes, groups, style, etc...

but the proyect ins't only about the tournament yo can send your own songs and after a period of moderation this song can be officially relesed, these songs are not necessarily related to the tournament and are something completely separate that does not affect it, you can even send songs from characters that have already been eliminated

You can make music with songs from up to 3 different characters (as long as you have used the sourceslist correctly and the twt team has accepted it), in the event that the same song can count for 2 or more sourcelist is also valid to make a song with the characters who share it. 

The tournament began on December 27, 2021 and today it is still in the quarterfinals. It is currently on a break from the tournament after finishing round 4 of winners and leading to round 5 of losers.

The tournament also has a "lore" but it is half confusing and half abandoned lol

Now putting the presentations aside, I hope that this blog has awakened your curiosity about this wonderful project, oh and the fact that the project is in another language doesn't stop you from enjoying it in the same way that a Spanish speaker would, music is a universal language and this tournament speaks it quite fluently (although obviously there are references that you will not fully understand but that can be resolved in a future blog that I make (; )
