Classes next to my ex :/

I've been seeing my ex around a lot more recently and I concluded it was because we have classes near each other now. Normally this kind of awkwardness is a shared experience but by god it reached a new level with him. 

The last time I passed him in the hallway I got word from a (then mutual) friend that he was talking shit about me. And not like "he did this wrong thing" type shit, I'm not a man derived of criticism, but like genuine recaps of our relationship that ended 2 years ago. 

I think he sees our relationship as a stepping stone for drama and relevance, and not a way to grow. He apparently used to bring it up to make our then mutual friends uncomfortable. I lost one of them to that shit.
