A crush #1

okay so there's this boy in my class called travis i started having feelings for him recently and we've barely talked if we do talk its for school and nothing else. We follow eachother on instagram but thats it we didnt talk on insta up til yesterday he sent me a text after school when i got home we texted a bit for like 5 or 6 minutes then he told me it was my other classmates/ his friends had his phone and was texting me if im being honest i felt embarassed but we still kinda talked but he was so dry so i had to end the convo w a excuse of not feeling well but when i told my hb bout it he said maybe he was shy and didnt  know how to talk to me but tbh i felt like it was a prank but idk but i remember before he told me his friends had his phone one of the message was "i was looking for you after school" do you guys think his friends was helping him out on talking to me or am i overthinking it ? what if he likes me ? although i highly doubt it but idk what should i do ?

might give more updates later on in the week what happens if i see him again in meantime should i start a convo with him? (sorry if this is confusing im not good at story telling)
