you can find your identity through fashion!!

hey, guys!! 

so i`d want to discuss a topic that I don`t see being discussed: the power that fashion holds in finding one`s identity!

plaid skirts, mary janes and knee-length socks were truly a start in shaping my entire cute, nice personality back in sixth grade, when I had no idea who I was. it also gave me a bit of confidence, like I always knew that whatever happened, my style would remain as cute as always. ofc, my style has evolved, but it will always remain a way for me to express myself and truly be who I want to be.

historically, women also used their style to impose their power in a world where their opinion and voices were considered taboos. so maybe it`s just in the female DNA to express urself that way.
