I keep rewatching videos from that night and wishing I could see them again.
70% of the people there were 30 year old bald hardcore dudes, and the rest were emo kids. I thought that was really funny to see in persons cuz I always heard people describe hardcore shows like that online and now I know its true XD also everyone was very friendly! I found myself talking to people other than my partner more than I expected
I bought vip tickets to be able to meet them/get some cool stuff. Unfortunately the cool stuff never came in and there was some secret rule that I had to be there 2 hours early to meet them so I really only got a cool drink from the lounge out of it. I feel less bad knowing that a lot of people actually didn't get the cool stuff, some guy in the lounge told me that. Bad management I guess?
But even despite all that I still think that was one of the happiest nights of my life
Seriously, that might be sad to say but I have never experienced such intense and uninterrupted happiness in one night.
Both bands put on amazing performances. I sang and danced my heart out without a care in the world, cuz everybody else was doing the same thing. I didn't even mind getting pushed or shoved, something about the energy made it seem really natural and fun.
Crying is DEF static dress's best song so far and it's even better in person <3
I got a video of the impact of reason, its probably one of the worse videos i took because my camera kept focusing and unfocusing + crazy blinding lights... But it actually kinda adds to the vibe? Its very dreamy and purple and kind of perfectly encapsulates what that song means to me. Its also extremely surreal to have been using that song as a crutcch of comfort for years, and to finally see the people behind it in person.

I also totally understand those people who see multiple shows in one tour now. as soon as it was over i was like I WANNA SEE THEM AGAINNN
IN CONCLUSION... i need to see more concerts. best experience of my life
Im seeing deftones + fleshwater soon so I'm excited for that! Though I think it'll be a very different experience since I wont be so close to the stage + way more people. Also im scared of deftones fans LOL

It's not like most days are all that memorable. That's not sad at all. That it was an amazing thing for you is what counts. My happiest days are far more simple than that, and that's not a bad thing either way.
