The Name of the Rose is a nice read, a gothic story of a friar and his apprentice solving a series of murders in a 14th century monastery. I personally haven't finished it because of laziness, but what I've read is really nice! In a similar genre, The Monk by Matthew Lewis, a story of a monk and his descent into depravity and sin.
If We Were Villains is a nice one too, I really enjoyed the writing style, also a murder mystery, and Between Two Fires, which I have yet to read but the summary sounds nice.
