i hate shein

i genuinely do not understand why people shop at places like temu or shein. you KNOW they underpay and overwork their very young workers in unethical unhygienic and unpractical working environments yet you STILL buy from those places? and dont get me STARTED on those 'alternative' people who shop at shein. you all are fucking braindead. the AUDACITY that people have commenting on videos making jokes about it is mind boggling to me. do they even think? like ever? and those people who say that shein or temu is the only affordable place they can buy from are stupid too. thrift shops exist? you can make your own clothes?? you dont NEED to buy clothes from shein, youre just telling yourself that. if you dont have thrift shops around you, you can also just make the clothes using other clothing. you can buy plain shirts for like 5 dollars, you can EASILY transform that in a way that works. you can also go to flea markets or garage sales. if you dont have the skill, then start learning. alternative isnt supposed to be beautiful perfect and factory-made looking. if youre afraid of 'standing out' or being judged with your hand-made or thrifted clothes than maybe you arent fit for the alternative lifestyle. and if youre really struggling with money THAT much to the point that you cant buy a 20 dollar sweater or 30 dollar pair of pants ever few months then maybe buying clothes shouldnt be your top priority.

I'd also like to add that you're much better off finding clothing that will last you longer at the thrift store for the fraction of the price. Speaking from my experience, the GoodWill near me usually has a lot of high-quality blouses and shirts from Chico's and Talbot's, which are perfect for staple base pieces in any wardrobe, alternative or not, all at $5 a pop!
