Gueffus Recipe!

A recipe for my fave sweet

ingredients!

almonds & sugar in equal measure
orange blossom water

process

  • Grind up the almonds to a sorta crumble cookie texture, but don't let it turn into a butter-like paste!
  • Pour water in a pan with the sugar (water should be less than the sugar, like 1/3), and leave it on low heat until you see them boil, at that point mix in the almonds and let it cook for about 7 to 8 minutes while u keep mixing.
  • Turn off the stove and prepare two plates, one (which can also be a bowl or whatever you have on hand) full of sugar, and one with baking paper on it. Then, transfer the mixture on the plate with the baking paper.
  • After you let it cool for a bit, you should add orange blossom water to your fingertips and roll the mix into round shapes, slightly pinch them at the sides and coat them with sugar. (note:) Regardless of the amount you made, they should be about 4 cm or 1 inch and a half big!
Let 'em cool further at room temperature, and yer done!
