My Love Letter to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild:

Some of my most precious memories surround this videogame. I remember when I first played the game in my friend’s college dorm back in 2020 (before the panoramic 💀), I kept trying to harass the Old Man because he wouldn’t give me the damn paraglider LMAO. Then I had to start all over again because I accidentally fell down the tower and didn’t know that there was fall damage 💀

Back in my friend’s apartment, I played the game on TV while the rest of the gang watched me play and we all giggle-gaggled at how I was so afraid of the Bokoblins considering they were like Lvl 1 monsters HAHAHA. It was a night to remember. A core memory of mine. I went to sleep smiling that night.

I’ll always remember the moment when you ride into Kakariko Village and suddenly the music and ambience changes. You find peace and respite after a long journey’s ride. It’s raining. Playing as Link, you’re always traveling alone and finding that momentary calm after journeying through hell and back is just an irreplaceable feeling.

During my college days, I would listen to Legend of Zelda ambient music to help me study and it truly added a bit of magic into my boring, monotonous life. Now, when I listen to Legend of Zelda music, it takes me back to the good ol’ days. Thank you for the memories 🥹🥹🥹 Ugh, I’m getting old with the way I'm so wistful these days. 

Feeling nostalgic, I recreated Koko’s Specialty Honeyed Apple dish. I acquired Honeycomb from a high-end market and added Korean apples into my inventory.

Ngl, it tasted aight LOL. I’d give it 8/10. It was only good because of the experience and memories that are attached to the dish LMAO. The honeycomb was maddd expensive. You see that slice of honeycomb in the pic? That’s 18,750 KRW right there 💀The entire box of honeycomb was 75,000 KRW 💀💀💀 Overall, the process of slicing apples and glazing it in honey was super fun tho!
