wtf was that maths challenge?

just had to do the national math challenge for people in top set yesterday.... what the fuck was that monstrosity? why did i have to answer a question about a dolphin, a shark, an octopus and a starfish??? why are the sea animals lying to each other?? why are we counting cat legs and tails?? why am i calculating many different ways to colour in columns and rows?? genuinely what the fuck was that exam, if anything at all?
