Over-medium eggs
I usually eat eggs with the yolk cooked because I wanted a single texture throughout the whole egg, but today I decided to be a bit daring and make over-medium eggs, which is probably the happy middle between watery yolk and cooked yolk. While making it, I didn't know how to flip it, but I figured that turning the egg at the center of the yolk and trusting your gut does the trick, lol.
Here's a picture of the finished product, served with toast. Edit: Forgot to mention the eggs tasted pretty good runny! It helped that I had toast to dip it in.
Last day of high school
Today is my last day of high school. I mean, I've finished my high school credits a long while back in October, so I've been pretty much hanging out and helping teachers with organizing their work and rooms (sort of like a self-volunteer unpaid internship (I'm too kind, I know)). But today actually marks my last day of school, since I'm going to college and everything.
I think a counselor's going to bring in those mini cupcakes you get from the supermarket (Bing link) as a little leaving gift, so I'm pumped about that!
