what is scrying ?:

★ scrying is when someone (typically a medium or spiritual people) uses a reflective object such as; a mirror, a crystal sphere, a black mirror, black glass or even still water, to see images or messages from the spiritual world. 

what is it used for ?:

★ scrying is typically used in witchcraft as a way of fortune-telling and divination. it's also used in ghost hunting to contact those who have passed but not left, it's also used in several cultures as it was known to be helpful for receiving visions. 

what's the point ?:

★ at its center, scrying's purpose is to gain insights from the spiritual world. it's about focusing on getting your mind ready to connect with energies, to aid yourself and/or the energies in a positive way in a safe environment. 

⋆ basically, talk to ghosties through visions with respect

method:

★ a person enters a meditative state & focuses intently on the surface of the reflective object, allowing images or symbols to emerge from the subconscious or spirit world. always keeping an open mind allowing energies & images to pass through you.

★ water scrying:

⋆ using any of the following; a bowl/shell of water, a river, pond, stream a natural depression of water such as; a puddle, a rain stream, a ditch with water, simply a pool of water in a tree stump would do too

⋆ you can add a drop of ink or oil to create patterns
