I finally bought Persona 5 Royal after wanting to play it for a while lets goooo. I tried to watch a playthrough to experience the story but I could never get that far into it before I'd start procrastinating on watching it so I think I just need to play it for myself.

Videos are in my experience the best way to experience persona, the gameplay in persona games is mediocre at best and grating at worst, having gotten halfway through Persona 3 Portable and decently far into Persona 2 Innocent Sin. Persona games as far as I can tell are just visual novels with a shallow RPG minigame thrown on top, if u get bored with just the story then having the story drip fed to you in between long swathes of boring grindy rpg will NOT grab your attention
Ohh that's interesting, I find that I finish games more often if I actually play them myself as opposed to watching them because like.. I spent money on it and I wanna get my moneys worth if that makes sense. I'll keep that take in mind and see how it goes though, thank you !!

Maybe the money thing would motivate you, I pirate all my games so idk abt that. Personally I don't think thugging out a bad game just to get my moneys worth wouldn't be that fun
