The smell of cinnamon.
There has been a lot of stress in my life lately and little time to actually think about what is going on. I feel overwhelmed by the amount of things to do, but that's normal: sometimes we just have more on our minds. At those times, I try to pay attention to the small, simple things. I like to look around when I go out and notice. The art of noticing. That's what allows me to feel calm and find a moment to stop in life, even if I'm still rushing through everything. Noticing the little things that can give us happiness is really important in the difficult moments of our lives. Let's seize the day and make the most of it, but let's not forget the moments of rest.
