I saw somewhere someone described themsleves being "born to be a 2000s teen, forced to be a 2000s baby" and boy ain't that true. Being born in 2003 allowed me to remember and experience what the internet was like, without any of the personal exploring. My experiences only go to club penguin, webkins, other kid friendly websites, etc. But I missed out on Myspace and creating personal websites. Something I also miss that I strongly think websites should bring back again are side games. I don't know if anyone else remembers but facebook use to have games on their website where you could become friends with mutual followers or something like that. I vaguely remember a farming game, I could also be making it up cuz I was a baby and what the fuck did I know. ANYWAY all this to say, Im gonna post, and update, all the websites I can find that give me the same feel.
-Neocities: Create your own free website!
Thats where we're at right now, if any of yall have anymore websites you think are worth a look, let me know so I can add them. LOVE YALL<3

Randomthoughts and Orisinal were so great back in the day. Actually, it looks like Orisinal's been brought back - for a while nobody could play those games anymore right after Flash died.
RandomThoughts is ded, though. Here's the WebArchive for it: https://web.archive.org/web/20080212121117/http://randomthoughts.net/
For a good while after the games & community were discontinued, the site was still up (just as a front page), but last I checked that's gone too, so only the archives remain!
If you like spooky stuff, Steve Ring's old Procession of the Damned site was cool too:

Definitly gonna add these cuz they're nice "blast from the past" websites, TY!!!!

You're not dreaming, that game was called Farmville and I distinctly remember watching my uncle play it on the family Windows 7 computer a few times when I was 7 years old as someone who's a few years younger than you.
And yes, I agree that the internet used to be so much cooler in the past than it is now.
YES THATS THE ONE I WAS THINKING OF!! Genuinely, thank you so much for bringing it up, I can rest easy now lmao.
