Reading upd8

I finished reading Ready Player One last night, pretty fun book! I haven't watched the movie, which I've heard isn't nearly as good as the book, but I'll consider giving it a chance if the opportunity shows up. I'll be starting the sequel, aptly named Ready Player Two tonight. The reviews for this on Goodreads say it's not as good as the first one, but I'm giving it a shot anyway. 

It's a sequel, I wanna know how Ernest Cline added onto his series! I'll decide for myself if it's a plate of bacon with extra epic sauce or a double-nothingburger with no cheese.

I'm also starting a research project on the Black Panther Party for one of my classes, so I picked up Black Against Empires: The History and Politics of the Black Panther Party by Joshua Bloom and Waldo E. Martin Jr. I haven't started it yet, but it looks like it'll be a good source based on the title alone. My prof also linked me to an archive of their newspapers, I'll probably go through those once I finish the book and narrow down what aspect about the BPP I want to explore.
