Holy F*ck

Trying to escape Meta and other social media websites, and blessedly found this. Exactly what I was looking for, honestly. I know it's only a temporary bandage on the world (my personal world) but I'm about to step back from most things online. I can't handle the rapid-fire reporting and the whiplash media responses any more. I'm so inundated that it's overwhelming and it's something that is sending my brain into compartmentalization.

I found an old Nokia phone in my crap when I was cleaning. I'm going to see if it works with my SIM. If so, I may turn the Internet into something I only experience at home. I'll miss my audiobooks, but maybe I'll get an iPod, too. I'm tired of the overwhelm.
