old websites vs. modern day minimalism

i miss when every website had it's "thing", and wasn't so saturated and bland. i know haven't been around LONG, but even i remember websites like girlsgogames and it's whimsical and sleek magenta and pink color interface. or even the old nickelodeon + nick jr websites. the old quirky ebay website. everything is just soo boring now. which is probably why i flocked to this site. everyone has their own little artsy page and it's just soo cute :-)

YESS as usful as modern phone are, their multifuncionality only enforces the individualism mindset society has now. Im actually trying to start a personal collection on DVDs, CDs, mp3s, digital cameras, and handheld gaming devices. Even they're not as "convenient", its precisely that type of media that carried more personality to them. I wonder if there are any more websites with customization features like this one, right now I am only aware of spacehey, everskies, and ponytown.

there's still Movie Star Planet and a lot of people are still on there, unfortunately it's showing it's age and starting to become a lot more laggy. 3 when you do find more media like this, PLEASE LMK!!

Wait, MSP is actually still up and running? It's been a while since I last saw any commercials for it on TV (I was in the 4th grade, circa 2015 or 2016, when the last Movie Star Planet commercial I saw aired) and I've just assumed for nearly a decade it had shut down already (like Club Penguin and many other MMORPGs) since then.
