Metal in eye

Okay so i think last saturday? My right eye started to hurt super bad, it felt very irritated and i could'nt shut it so i didnt sleep for like 2 days.

 I ended up going to the emergency room because of how much pain i was in, after HOURS of waiting in triage the nurse came and told us "ooookay, just put these drops in your eyes every 4 hours and in a week you will be good!" (reminder nobody had even came in and looked at my eye... not even the doctor) So my mom was like "well uh... the doctor didnt even come and look at their eye what if there is something in it? can they come look please??" so the nurse called the doctor in and he took a quick look and stuck some sort of dye in my eye and looked inside with a black light and said "Nope, its pink eye, this is classic pink eye symptoms! take the drops and you will be fine" he dint tell us to follow up with an eye doctor or anything either, so we left, at about 5 am. 

the next day i was still in so much pain, the drops did nothing and i didnt even have pink eye symptoms, no discharge from eye or even a PINK coloring in the eye, plus it was only one eye.

 Btw i am blind in my left eye already, so if something goes wrong with my right one im fully blind.

 My mom took me to the eye doctor and the nice lady looked at my eye, not even 3 seconds later she's like "well you have rusty metal in your eye.." UH WHAT. So it was NOT pink eye... she told us if we wouldve waited or just listened to that doctor in the ER i wouldve went fully blind. She got a needle and took the metal chunk out of my eye, then she got a burr drill and started getting the rust out of my cornea. 

The rust is so deep in there she couldnt get it all out in the first session, so we made another appointment 2 days later. She still couldnt get it all out after 4 sessions, now my cornea is so damaged we are having to wait a full week before another session. 

as im writing this i still have rust in my eye but i can see a bit better than i could a few days ago, but i still have the text so big i feel like an old grandpa.. if she doesnt get all the rust out next session im gonna sob.
