i tend to layer a lot of accessories rather than clothing, belts, bracelets, necklaces etc... however simple things like putting kewl tights under shorts/skirts, arm warmers, leg warmers, scarves, can go a long way!! ^^ i suggest going on youtube/pinterest and just examining ur fav styles, it helps to figure out what kind of silhouette ur going 4 and is great inspo!!

i personally love to layer multiple belts for a 'punk' look; might work with emo fashion as well. i recently learnt that belts are an easy and simple way to style and 'layer' an outfit -- try it out!
