disclaimer: all of the specimens in my collection are ethically sourced (either found by me, gifted to me or bought from ethical sellers)
First off, my pride and joy- Bernie. This is the only piece of taxidermy that I own for now but I’m planning to get more in the future.
Raccoon skull that I bought, it looks way better than the other bones i own cause it’s been bleached.
Boar skull and bones that I found in the woods and cleaned myself
Another boar skull, this one was younger and missing its lower jaw.
This little sparrow skull that I found in my backyard most likely caught by my cat and she just left it there for months.
Little jars of teeth- the ones on the left are boar teeth and the other one is mine.
Jar of dried frogs
This one looks funky cause it was found hanging over a fence and it’s spine is broken.
Wall of bugs:
I got these from my grandpa
These too but I had to put them in a different frame
I mounted all of these myself except for the big one (morpho godarti) wich i put there cause the frame it was in before broke.
Chinese oak tussar moth and domestic silk moths- I’m gonna frame these too and add them to the wall.
A couple of stag beetles (male and female) that i mounted too.
Some other things: either damaged that I’m gonna use for crafts or I’m just not sure what to do with them yet.
Lastly, this snake that I found.

This is so cool I have always wanted to get taxidermy but I don't no were to find them. Also I really love skulls!

I have one or two animal bones/skulls for myself, but whole boar skulls? incredible.
I love the bugs as well, especially the moths and butterflies. My mum once had to make a display case with lots of bugs in it before for Uni, and I own it now :]

thanks!! honestly i dont really have tips cause you have to be pretty lucky to find something but just take long walks and go off trail as much as you can

THATS ACTUALLY A DIFEERENT CACTUS.. spike got so tall that he fell and i put him in a different room but hes alive too

omg tooth earrings are such a cool idea! this is just my baby tooth so not as cool but if i have to get my teeth pulled someday ill definitely keep them and make jewelry

honestly i think this hobby started because of my grandpa, hes really into entomology too and ive always admired the insects he had on display at his place. then i started collecting other stuff like bones and i recently started getting into taxidermy too
