Man, this weekend went just about as fast as the last week. （´＿｀;）
It wasn't by any means bad, but there was a lot to get done, and not much time to do it. Welcome to corporate America I guess. >_>
At the very least, I'm glad I was able to visit my grandmother and keep her company for a while. She's been really lonely ever since my grandfather passed, so I've been trying my best to help out when I can.
Today's been alright though. I was able to take part in a Half-Life 2 Roll-Play for the second time ever! I've been roped into playing a Civil Protection officer (Essentially a Stormtrooper) by this grill I'm pretty into (Shhhhh! No telling!). It's definitely a huge change of pace for me, but I think it's something that'll end up benefiting my social experience at the end of the day. So kudos to me! Even if it did totally drain my social batteries. ^-^'
I don't know how everybody can just live a life filled with almost nothing but working and sleeping. I know there's better ways to go about life and what not, but holy shit dude... How do I even get myself to that point? I've just kinda hit a wall in my life I guess. I'm reaaaaally hoping I can find a way through this, because I think getting stuck in this cycle will eventually be the end of me. Rant over! (´_ゝ`)

Life is really strange in that we think of sleeping and working as our two main things. Many philosphers make the point that we can only truly live in having both acting and resting times. We must take actions, as well as reflect on actions. So we can all find true joy in happiness in acting with intention for the things we want! I hope tomorrow is more interesting for you! I suggest if youre bored you should start making faces at strangers.
Thank you for the lovely insight! I just wish I had a bit more time to, you know, actually rest lol. I'm definitely looking to making things work out better this week though!
