so ive been knocking around this idea of this story about a trans woman born into an extremely religious small town who begins to believe she is the antichrist. the setting is a fictional eastern european country in the 80s. that isnt very important to the plot but its fun set dressing and helps set the tone a lot

now i just had an epiphany that absolutely changes everything. it doesnt really change anything about the story, but it makes the world its set in infinitely more interesting to me. the idea is that the story now takes place in an alternate timeline where the cold war ended with nuclear weapons being dropped on russia resulting in a nuclear winter 

this is game changing because i fucking love post apocalyptic shit. like so much. if you follow my art blog prepare to be sick of me

ive been allowing myself to make self indulgent shit instead of trying to focus on the output being “good” because whats the point of making shit if youre not having fun? i dont make shit for other people, i make it for myself. if other people happen to enjoy it thats just a bonus but my target audience for the shit i make will always just be me
