Like, I know that it's a ripoff and doesnt actually support tyler (Chromakopia is the only one of his albums he hasn't put on cassette) but i was gonna get this shit on tape either way, like either i would buy one or make one with a tape recorder and god has decided to bless me on this fine day
So, me and my mom are both addicted to anything and everything vintage (me to the early ahh 00's and the 90',and her to the 80's and down to antique) so we were going on just a teensy shopping haul when we went to this place called blue velvet vintage clothing and it was kinda boring (EXCEPT for this cool ahh aqua and brown sweater that i was both too broke and too large to get sigh) so my mom forced me to the record shop next door.
The record shop wasn't all that cool, i'd checked all of the cassettes and was perusing the records in search of chromakopia (it is very hard to overestimate my love for this album okay?) and i hadn't really found anything cool other than The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, which i would've bought if it wasn't literally 50 bucks, like chill. After my mom had acquired whatever she wanted we went to the checkout and it was there that I spotted it, in the only cassette rack i hadn't checked, the very. last .cassette. Of all the days to not have my tape deck on me.
I don't think it's physically possible for me to put the excitement i felt at that very moment into words. Then I looked at the price. 20. Dollars. What had I done to deserve this cruel punishment? Was this it? The end? Would I keel over and die right there and then? It was then that my mother, bless her soul, said she would pay for it. At that moment a hand descended from the heavens and returned to me my whimsy & excitement.
Anyways im listening to it rn and I'm kicking my legs like a schoolgirl in love

tao the art parasite
yo nice :D im more of a DVD girly but at the end of the day having something u love on ur hands is one of the best sensations ever x3 thats why phisical media will just always beat digital stuff
also tyler mentioned >:3
So real! I thought i was the only one but having all my medias in a single device (so a phone) feels so depressing, its like a parasite you have to carry everywhere because no matter what you want to do, you'll always need your phone!
My mom doesn't really undertsands it and whatever i ask for, she always says i already have it on my phone, per example i wanted to ask her for an ipod because i like to listen to music on the way to school and she said she wasnt sure if she'd get it because i already have an apple music suscription :(
