I wanna relationship sooooo baddddd but people suck :(

Ugghhhhhhhhh!!!!! I swear this has become a monthly thing now. Three fu king times in a row I’ve had a cute guy start hitting me up, i get my hopes up because someone actually finds me attractive for one, and then all the sudden he just ditches me just as i think to myself ‘perhaps this will be the one that can work for me.’ 

Like 3 times this has happened now, and like, now the 3rd time has come and gone, it doesn’t seem like a coincidence anymore. I really want to have a romantic relationship beause i want to be close to someone without haveing the contstraints of a platonic relationship, and when im dating someone, it gives me more of an insentive to go out and do stuff, which my mum almost begs me to do. 

However, I’ve given myself really high standards, and when i say high, each one of the standards in reality just sounds like the bare fu king minimum when i say it out loud. Like here. These are my 10 criteria:

-Needs to have a direction on where he wants to go in life

-Looks after himself fashion wise, hygiene wise, and self care wise.

-Isn’t afraid of trying new things

-Has atleast a few things in common with me

-Has a hobby outside of ‘just gameing and watching TV’

-Listens to me and is respectful of me

-is a bit patient with me and my whimsy

-takes me out on dates every once in a while 

-Is supportive of my interests and hobby’s

-Is a bit creative/funky

-Makes the first move

I don’t think these are much to ask for personally. Like I could’ve sworn that some of these are the bare minimum. I know that some people might say “you shouldn’t expect him to always make the first move because some men are just too shy 0n0” or “Gameing and TV are common hobbies these days you should respect people for that” and to that i say that your standards are too low and I genuinely don’t care, because i want someone who can show that they have an actual engaging passion in life and i also want someone who can show that they like me enough to actually ask me out, because if im the one who has to make the first move then that just tells me you don’t care enough about me to push aside your shyness.
