Hey y'all, first blog post on this account and technically my first blog post of 2025. I just wanna take a minute to kinda sit back and talk about whatever. 

Act 1 - AMS Update

So as a few of you may know, I'm working on what I consider to be my official debut album (since I consider both UNRAPPABLE BEAUTY & I HONESTLY HATE ME TOO. to be both mixtapes), A MINDLESS SOUL. The album's currently coming along really well, I recently got a female vocalist on it as well as a feature from a good friend of mine, Wiirdo (now going by Trey Dons). I'm also supposed to be getting features from a lot of other people including yungicystar, Cody, Suz & maybe astrmani if he's down. The current tracklist for the project goes as follows (* = Placeholder Name, ** = Featured hasn't recorded yet or hasn't been finalized):

DESCENT is planned to be entirely reproduced by some friends of mine, although this might not happen, who knows (only one is on-board, the other knows I wanna work with him on music but doesn't know I have this idea in mind).

I've noticed this for a while but I realized this project might just be a band reunion since I used to be in a band with Suz and the two people I wanted to have help reprod DESCENT.

I'm a little nervous about the current condition of both the album and my own abilities, I know I previously said the album's coming along well but one of my worst songs is on this album (MLS) and because I've had to rerecord my vocals on that song so many times to the point that I'm afraid to even touch any of my other songs because I don't want those to have the same effect. Is it my voice? My mixing?? My microphone??? I guess I'll have to figure this all out by myself since no one has even attempted to help me out with this. I'm a little worried all I'll ever be in a voiceless producer, but then again that's how Kanye started and then he had to prove himself to everyone and look where he is now. Hopefully this will be the kind of album that'll be able to prove myself to everyone that I'm worthy of the attention and success.

And now, on to the other stuff.

Act 2 - After AMS, The Plan

Whether if or if not the album does good or not (review-wise, maybe not play-wise), I'm kinda thinking I start to take my music into a few different directions. I'll still do Hip-Hop but I'm thinking of exploring a ton more genres to really see what works and what doesn't (and hopefully, I don't get called a culture vulture for it). These genres include (but are not limited to):

• Ambient R&B (aka GHOST~POP)
• Vaporwave (either in its entirety or its many subgenres)
• Jungle / Drum n Bass (Apparently one is different than the other?)
• Bossa Nova (not just a blend of Hip-Hop & Bossa Nova (or Hip-Nova? Bossa-Hop?))
• Latin

I've already got a new name for this little side project, maybe I'll also incorporate it into everything but who knows. This new name for this is 結晶猫, or "Crystal Cat" in English (might change later).

This isn't like a backup project in the slightest, this is some stuff that I've always wanted to do. My first few projects, CompUSA 2000 & ONE BIG DREAM, are considered Vaporwave projects to me and I've always wanted to do better at the genre (since those last two projects suck to me as well). The Ambient R&B shit came from Cody recommending that me and him work on an 808s and Heartbreak-style album and thinking, What if I mixed 808s & GHOST~POP TAPE into an album, would it work well or would it be a huge mess?

And now, on to the other stuff once again.

Act 3 - Life

Honestly, things could be better. I don't know exactly how to articulate how I'm feeling right now, next post can have more details.
