"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance perseverance, character, and hope."

All the reasons we can rejoice are because of all these things that are being produced in the saved person's Christ life living in the new born-again nature of their Creator God.

This strengthens the faith in salvation and reveals who you are individually uniquely in God with all these things of Godly character as to what you do with these in how you'll work with them showing the fruit of His Holy Spirit.
