Our art in this generation is dying. People in our generation have become extremely lazy. It has come to the point of art becoming too easy to make. Making people in museums say words like, "I could do that" to nearly every piece they come across. What happened to the wonderful artwork created by talented and passionate people. People like Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh and Pablo Picasso, and many more artists like these, who paintings took hours of dedication and hard work to create. When the painting was finally done, sometimes painters would feel that the painting was not good enough to be shown, and they would start again or hide the art away from the world till they had something they knew people would love and admire. When one would look at a painting one could see the details, the talent and the hours it took to create such a masterpiece. Artwork that used to make people stop in their path and admire and treasure the work shown before them. Art like that used to be valued and worshipped.
But in these recent years, art has gotten lazy, people are considering a picture of banana, duck tapped to a wall 'art'. People have put no effort or thought into their work. Then there are stupid rich people bidding on 'art' like this, which is selling for millions of dollars. Giving the 'artist' more money imagined. You'd think that with all this great money, they could get supplies and essentials to hopefully, at least try and make proper art. But instead they just continue making the same boring and 'modern' art.
To me, I think this is unacceptable, and it is only going to get worse. The years go on and, people still do nothing to help fix it. We should educate art students in schools to be creative and to put thought into their artworks, a piece of art that will stop everyone in their tracks, just to wonder and admire the magnificent piece this person has created. But if you are not an artist or just simply do not care for art it's self, then I guess you have nothing to worry about. But these people out there who are putting hard work and skill into their work, trying to get their pieces recognised and loved These people are loosing hope, and slowly giving up, because this 'modern', lazy and basic art is being shown more appreciation then talented, detailed and beautiful artwork.
All one can do is spread the word, until one can come up with a great idea to action. Help, our art is dying.

It's all probably because people found a benefit behind it,someone taping a banana on a wall?promising it's very deep, meaningful and artistic so some dumb hiper rich and uneducated person could be impressed for some reason (like I don't find an explanation to this, like how can someone even waste a single dollar in THAT) and now everyone does the same, and when someone has the genuine talent and vocation and decides to sign into an art class there are three options 1they get influenced and turn into that type of modern artist all for money, 2 quits the class and follows their own path (unlikely) or 3 quit art, because this is all fucking stressful.
I have been into art ever since I was a literal kid that's why I went to many art classes because I liked it and I could learn new techniques,yk what my memories from that classes are?sitting in a chair for hours drawing a fucking apple or a banana and it's would be totally ok because yeah I was learning and blah blah blah totally ok until it's exactly the same even at a more "mature" age I kept being forced to realised All "tecnical" everything had to be accurate,no imagination was allowed,I wasn't allowed create my own colour pallets,I wasn't allowed to create my own style because only realistic matters only realistic gives money,no emotion no freedom because even if it seemed like a place to be free and express one it felt like jail, like an obligation.I've been told all my life that art has rules, unbreakable rules which I have forgotten and ignored on purpose, not talking about the "no using pure white or black" (which I ignore too,I'm sorry) but rules that made any kind of actual self expression disappear, indirectly said because it gets to a point where I have remind myself of that art is SELF EXPRESSION and not only pretty paintings and insane amounts of money.
But it now doesn't matter anyways,if the extreme unnecessary benefits behind stupid modern art pieces havent killed art yet AI will, new artists are absolutely ended now,art each day that passes means less and less to new generations, some outstand and think of things from a different perspective, artistically essencially pheraps it's rare now and tomorrow it'll be even more rare so on.
This all is really sad,now there's no personality,no art just benefits and aesthetics, art has completely lost its meaning to the concerning big majority of society and things will grow,it's just scary to even wonder about how all will be "tomorrow" I believe art isn't dead yet for some, but if things keep going like this it will someday -not so far- be,with uncommon exceptions.
It doesn't matter the point, this just sucks and *some* know well it does...
I completely understand everything you have said. And you are right about all of it. If art keeps going on the path it is now, their will be no expression, talent or real effort left in the "art". And it is so annoying, how controlling they can be in art classes, telling you what to paint, how to paint it. All the art in the class will become the same, there will be nothing separating your art from someone else's. It so horrible.

i admit the banana one is really stupid, but some simple art like klein blue might just seem as lazy to someone but if you look into it, its famous because a man made a color it was impossible to make that color back in the 60 (when it was made)
I agree that some of the art made today is very wonderful, and there are some talented people out there. And art is taking a different style, and look in this generation, and other things are specified as art, that I would not take as art. It is just some of the art shown today, doesn't look as though a lot of talent is put into them, but some do have talent. I did not mean to exclude all art from this recent time, because some of it is really creative and beautiful. But I have seen a lot of art that seems to not show as much talent as the other's. And from that I explained my opinion and anger from it. But I can be more accepting of the new art being created, even though it is much different to the art I have known.
