I have been wanting to find a style that would fit me best but I'm not sure what one I wold like the most. I feel like I don't fit in any space because I like so many different things. I enjoy all kinds of alternative styles but I also have a strict black mom who dose not like them so it can be hard to feel like me. Is there any advice for what I can do to feel less crazy.

Hii im some1 who doesnt fit into an exact alternative space either i listen and like everything. I dress alt w dark brown and green hair, a septum, and then my outfits r usually more toned down. I like striped shirts and i wear a ribcage crop over it. Im some1 who cant get up everyday and dress up/doesnt want to so i include patterns of stuff i find cool on what i wear. Whenever i do dress up tho im usually just putting on accessories and leg warmers. Finding fashion style is rly hard and dont feel pressured to fit in a box!! I’m not rly sure what kind of alt fashion ur into but maybe u could go thrifting and learn how to sew^-^ u could also look on the web to get ideas 4 things u wanna try out or if u can maybe ask a friend if u can try on their stuff? And even at the thrift u can try on stuff or at stores u can try on stuff and b like hey this color looks rly good on me i love this or b like yeah this- ISNT IT XD- and the best part is u dont have to buy it uk. I feel like the big thing is asking urself am i going to wear this often for me i have a checklist since i have bad sensory issues for what clothes i will and wont buy.
As 4 ur mom that makes it super tricky and my styles not super loud or anything but its still alt so maybe u could try toned down things or if u like accesories u could buy pony beads and make kandi?

Looking at ur profile and im noticing the pink glitter, leopard print, and that u like ayesha!! Maybe u’d like more of a 2000s kinda fashion style?? I love ayesha and im looking at her rn for refs
In this one pic she has shes wearing a hot pink top and then she has this pink jacket that has sparkly beads on it. Then rn im thinking back to 2000s rooms and how omg sm glitter and sparkly stuff everywhere lolz. U could look up old fashion brands online im pretty sure some1 posted smth like that on this website a bit back to and it was a top post.
Also makeups def a big thing even small makeup can make a whole change on ur tone

So yeah maybe u could just look for stuff like that- sew, get creative!! I love looking at outfits 4 hrs when i design characters but u could make idk like a board or smth on pinterest for things u like and eventually work ur way up to dressing that way? Accessories r def a big thing too
