my most recent life changing movie has gotta be perfect days (2023). singlehandedly got me into 35mm photography just because of how it captures beauty in the mundane--a shot that stuck with me is just lingering light reflected on the roof of a public toilet. that's the stuff!!!

I don't know if it'll change your life, but a film I saw recently that broke my brain is Mulholland Drive, so if you haven't seen that already, I'd recommend that. Other good films you should watch are The Grand Budapest Hotel, There will be blood (scored by Jonny Greenwood) or an Edgar Write film.

requiem for a dream is a very harrowing classic. i also love perfect blue
